About the Workshop
.
Extraordinary leaders and teachers change the way we perceive the world. The very best lead us by their example. 93-year-old yoga master Tao Porchon-Lynch is a living advertisement for how to tap into our human potential. She is unique in her ability to overcome the effects of aging to control her body and mind in harmony with Yoga’s principles. Join us for Tao’s first workshop in Harlem. Be inspired by Tao’s presence and expert teaching, and hear stories about her extraordinary life. All are welcome – from seasoned yogis to new beginners. Following the Gentle Yoga Workshop, there will be a Conversation with Tao guided by Dr. Terri Kennedy, founder of Ta Yoga – which operated the first yoga studio in Harlem. Tao’s first meditation book/CD, Reflections: The Yogic Journey of Life will also be available for purchase. Bring your own mat – if you don’t have one, we will have a few extra on hand.
