Listen to this week’s message:
As Argentinian footballer Lionel Messi said, “You have to fight to reach your dream. You have to sacrifice and work hard for it.”
How determined are you? Lionel Andrés Messi started playing soccer when he was five years old in his home town of Rosario in central Argentina. When he was diagnosed with a growth hormone deficiency at age 11, his dreams of playing may have ended. The treatment was extremely expensive. When the sporting director of Barcelona’s professional football club offered to pay his medical bills on the condition that he move to Spain, he did. With natural talent, he still worked with great focus and now is ranked as one of the best players in the world. Anything worth achieving is worth sweating over. Fight to reach your dream. Whether it is a personal or professional goal, stay focused on what is in your heart. Do whatever it takes even if you have to make big changes. If things are not the way you want them, step up your game. There are high penalties in life for deferred dreams, so take a risk and you will eventually savor the reward.
Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!
With Purpose & Power,
