As Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. said, “If you can’t fly then run, if you can’t run then walk, if you can’t walk then crawl, but whatever you do you have to keep moving forward.”

What is your “can-do”? A number of years ago, I had a back injury that made it so I couldn’t walk for almost six months. I had to use a rolling office chair to get around my apartment. Eventually, I was able to hobble down to the pool and begin to swim and do yoga in the water. As I got stronger, I began to walk. Finally, I was able to practice yoga on the mat and run again. If I had focused on what I could not do, it would have taken much longer to heal and the frustration may have caused inertia. Instead, I took it step by step – literally! The fact is life goes on and time goes by no matter what you’re doing. You may have accomplished your goals or still be staring at your to-do list. Even if you feel you’re taking baby steps, keep moving forward. Start where you are and go from there. Hone in on what you can do in this moment to move a little closer to your destination. One day, you’ll look up and you’ll be running – you may even feel like you’re flying!

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
