PAVE YOUR OWN WAY

As essayist and poet Ralph Waldo Emerson said, “Do not go where the path may lead, go instead where there is no path and leave a trail.”

What is your special offering to the world? One winter, I went hiking up a mountain and through the woods with a friend. We were in a National Park and there weren’t many people around. I was just getting used to the snowshoes and was following in his footsteps. He kept on saying, “Lay your own tracks.” At first, I didn’t want to mess up the pristine landscape, but then I felt excitement in leaving an imprint on the fresh snow. This week, pave your own way. Think about what imprint you want to make on the world. It’s easy to get caught up comparing yourself to others and it’s comfortable to go along with the crowd. Instead, take a different route. Listen to what’s in your heart. Own your uniqueness and see what new trails you can blaze.

Until next time, remember – it’s your divine life, live it to the fullest. The power is in your hands!

With Purpose & Power,

Terri
